Services
Individualized treatment plans, rooted in applied behavior analysis,
and overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Early Intervention
Individualized support plans to address skill deficits for children birth to 3.
Verbal Behavior
Assessment and intervention to target verbal communication for children with autism and other developmental disorders.
Behavior Supports
Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) and behavior support plans to reduce maladaptive behaviors.

Activities of Daily Living
Assessment and intervention for children who need support acquiring life skills, such as: eating; dressing; hand washing, toothbrushing and other hygienic skills; toilet training; independent play; safety skills; etc.
Social Skills and Community Support
Plans to increase positive social interactions in the home and community settings.

Service Modalities
The location of services are based on client needs and may vary overtime.
Home & Community Services
Therapy provided within the child's natural environments.
(Most common.)
Telehealth Services
Usually reserved for certain aspects of caregiver training, team meetings, or for clients with the cognitive capacity to benefit from online therapy.
School Contracting
Sunflower Center contracts with local schools to provide direct therapy, consultation, and/or staff training.
The type of service and number of hours prescribed are also based on need and may vary overtime.
Direct Treatment
Typically provided by a Behavior Technician, this service is for those requiring direct services. Hours can vary from 4-40 hours per week depending on individual needs.
Caregiver Guidance
Also referred to as parent training, this is a required service for all clients. Caregiver guidance is provided by a BCBA on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis.
Group Treatment
Social skills groups for qualifying clients, based on availability.
